The 2008 IMF festival musical will be Peter Pan. The story of a mischievous little boy who refuses to grow up. Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood adventuring on the small island of Neverland as leader of his gang, the Lost Boys. The show's adventures begin when Peter teaches Wendy and her brothers how to fly and invites them to come with him to Never-Never-Land.

A one-hour condensed version of the story featuring many of the fantastic songs will be presented on Friday's final concert. This is open to ALL ages, from infants to teens and parents!

This class meets M-Th, 8:00-10:00A and counts as one ensemble plus one elective. There is a material charge of $15 for music, which is mailed in June. Auditions for leads (Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and others) will be held Sunday morning at 11 AM. In order to audition for these parts, one must learn from memory the solo songs that will be mailed to you in late June. All other parts will be assigned at the first class on Monday. Registrants will be sent instruction as to what clothes to bring for the performance. The play will be presented with costumes and a set designed by the art class and others at 1-2 PM on Friday in the Great Hall.
