The 2010 IMF family musical will be based on the Broadway musical, "THE LION KING,". Auditions for the
solo parts will be held at the first class on Sunday, July 25th, 11 A.M. Dr. Hauck will send all registrants details
on how to audition. It is suggested you purchase a CD recording of the musical. There will be beautiful costumes and
set pieces brought from an earlier production that Dr. Hauck directed.
In celebration of the 25th year of IMF, the
final presentation of The LION KING will be a full hour on Friday night, accompanied by a chamber ensemble, open to all IMF
registrants and the general public.
Note this class costs an extra $40 due to the extra 6 1/2 hours of
class time and costs for the music. This is open to ALL ages, from infants to teens and parents!
Auditions for leads will be held Sunday morning at 11 AM. In order to audition for these parts, one must learn from
memory the solo songs that will be mailed to you in late June. All other parts will be assigned at the first class on Monday.
